Minty 04 Gallardo for $33,900.00.

It appears the first of flood damaged cars are showing up. Crankyape.com has some really nice cars on their site. There is a gorgeous 04 Gallardo with 10000 miles and its at 33900 right now and its hit the reserve. Looks like new but wont start. Could be a great deal for someone that could fix it. They also have a 360 and a new Maserati plus some other really nice cars. All were in the flood in New York im guessing. Wonder what the G will go for?

Great buy, Get it for 40k another 15k into the engine and you have a great car you could have for a long time.

Guys - go check out what entails in trying to repair a salt water flood car...the water looks like it was as high as the center console...

No! Wrong advice! Bad call if it has salt water damage.
(Maybe OK call if no water damage, or minor fresh water damage...)

Salt water will have eaten every electrical connection. You will have to rewire the car, and replace every electrical switch and electric motor/servo. And likely soft parts like leather (salt kills leather), and maybe seats, dash, etc, depending on what can be "salvaged" by cleaning

This is no deal. It is being sold EXACTLY discounted for what you will have to pay to fix it, and that will equal the final street value of a salvage title car. No discount.
