Default LP-570 rear wing... is it possible to remove?

I've been considering upgrading my Nera for a 570, but I'm really having a hard time getting past the rear wing. I can remember when I was in the market for my Nera, a dealership offered me a great deal on a Superleggera - knowing I wasn't fond of the rear wing, they offered to change it...???!!!! Is this possible?

Now that I'm interested in the 570, does anyone know if it's even possible, or would I be totally bastardizing the beautiful car.

Thanks!

I remember when I didnt like wings at all. Then my new one came with a wing, I know can't imagine not having one. My mechanic said it is easy to remove. I think 4 bolts that are easy to get to.

I know on the 08 superleggera you could order it without the big wing. Probably the same thing in the 570?

I know on the regular gallardo, the wing moves slightly at certain speeds... is this the same with the 570? Hopefully it's exactly the same mechanism and it can simply be swapped...

I believe there is a small wing option - also in carbon fiber for the SL. It is fixed and sits up slightly from the normal rest position of the standard spoiler but is basically the same size and shape. Easy to swap.

On the SL's - both wings are fixed, and do not move. This was done to cut weight, even with the smaller wing by eliminating the wing motor, cables, and hardware.

IMO - SL's should have a big wing...With the small one, it does not look as daunting.

It can be removed. True, you can see out of the rear view but I hardly do that. I know it's possible as I am considering installing a super treffo wing on my SL. Brain @ supercars said its an easy swap.

I don't think it is an easy swap unless you change the decklid as well.
