Have seen this on more than one occasion....Make positively sure your bulb is still good first...then it is either a loose connection and you arent getting juice or it could be the following.. in some of the earlier Gallardos the connecter (its silver) where the base of your taillight bulb sits flush in will get a small burnt look to it where it has caused the power going to the bulb to arc..if that is the case you will need a new wiring harness..but I think you have to buy the whole taillight assembly to get that.. This has happened to several of these cars due to heat generated back there over time..I think that tailight is around $350-$500 ...cant remember....order it from Glen at AMH if that is actually whats going on.

Thanks Xotic, when I first replaced the bulb, it didn't work, so I wiggled it around and it turned on...perhaps its just the connector?

Its probably your wiring harness and if thats the case you have to get the whole taillight assembly to get that....
