I would like to make a Gallardo my daily driver. I am just wondering how many years I will get before major repairs if I put 8,000 miles/year on this car.

Do these cars make it to 100,000 miles with compeltely rebuilding the engine? What might major engine overhauls cost?

Nobody has that kind of milage on these cars yet. The most I have see here is about 60K. There is really nothing special or unusual about the engine itself that would not let it go well past 100K (if mentained, oil etc). The main issue will be the clutch. Will probably need one or two replacements for 100K.

What kind of money does the clutch replacement get into?
