.3 mm is very little wear but I'm surprised it would be any wear with only 500 miles. Do I read this correctly that it's a 2002 with 500 miles? That seems impossible. Mine had zero wear at 1800 miles - but that's also the difference between the 2009 egear and the pre-09 egear.

I have scanned the list twice and I don't see the Launch Control count. Mine was zero and in 500 miles I would expect zero unless someone's been "drag racing". Launching doesn't necessarily mean anything bad (ask Turbo50mike) but it's hard on the egear - especially pre-2009 models.

I'd suggest asking an authorized dealer to interpret it. If it was given to you by a dealer ask a third party (uninvolved in the transaction) for their opinion. It'll be worth it.

0.3 means that you have no wear. It's brand new. When you reset the computer, the starting point can vary from 0.3 to 0.7 mm. Basically you still have a brand new clutch.

Old thread but just wanted to comment that my 08 with 4400 on it when I bought it had a difference of 0.4. Snap done at Dallas Lambo. Isn't that surprisingly little wear? Not that I'm complaining.

It actually depends when both snaps were done. Was the car cold or hot when the snap was taken? The difference can be between 0.1-0.4mm.
