You likely have air in the lift system. I had my power steering pump replaced when I purchased my G and it took many hours of bleeding to get it to work proper. Make sure you try it at least a dozen times before you accept the car. Mine worked the first time I picked up the car and then by the time I drove home it took like 2 minutes for it to go up. Then tried it again and it would not go up. Take it back to the dealer and make them get it right.

sorry to hear about that experience.

The dealers handling of this was extremely poor and inexcusable.

I hope others in the New Jersey area vote with their $$ and avoid going to that place.

Lamborghini of North America will not care about your problem , however I was very surprised with the attention I got from Lamborghini in Italy . Maybe calling them will work

Seems almost all dealers are freaking incompetent.

Most effective tool: Domain and website that tells your story and that anyone looking them up will find. They will do anything to make that go away.

I was going to bring my car there for the recall too. I'll just make the trip to Manhatten instead. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Since the recall is paid and requested by the manufacturer, I think you may need to get them involved to rectify the situation. Normally, dealer's mishap is between the dealer and the car owner so I can see why manufacturer could care less.

Here are some contacts that may be helpful if you decide to contact Lamborghini.

Lamborghini America

Rene Sueltzner
Head of after sales
usaservicedepartment@lamborghini.com

Lamborghini Spa
39-051-681-7611
39-051-681-7644 fax
Kristina Castagnoli
Customer Relationship Manager
Alessandro Farmeschi
Head of After Sales

Best of luck!
