Post Help with gallardo head unit. no power

Hello this is my first post on this forum and could really do with some help

i am now on my second lambo

I now own a 06 lambo gallardo 520bhp coupe in orange and really love the car.

Over christmas my battery went flat. After several attempts to charge the battery the car still would not tick over.

this morning i bought a new battery Bosch cost about £86 fitted it, stressing trying to get the rubber seal back on lol, car started no problem but was left with a steady ebs light on.

did some reading on here and cleared that by taking it for a run.

The problem is when i start the lambo up i have no display or power on headunit screen?

No lambo bull or anything, it wont display anything at all.

The six disk multichanger wont even eject a disk as there is no power in the head unit at all.

I have checked all fused behind seats and also under passenger footwell. and they are all fine and intact.

really need some advise and if anyone can help that woul be greatly appreciated.

happy new year

steve

There is also a fuse on the back of the headunit. That may be the culprit.

Changer gets power directly from head unit also. Hope it solves your issue.

Lol, I did that on my Escalade. Forgot to push the button. It only took me a few min to figure it out while I was on my drive to work.

Awesome! Glad it is sorted at minimal cost.

You can buy the tools on ebay...not the best quality but get the job done.
