Default Help on G Purchase

Trying to take the first step in owning a lambo. I have been spending some time looking at 04 and 05 gallardos located in Southern California and Cats exotic inventory. My preferenace on transmission type would definitely be the traditional six speed. The market rate was going for 130s to 140s on less than 5k miles on 04 Gs while the 05s with similar mileage went for 150ks. Do the numbers look proper? In any case, what would be the 'considered' smart move in regards to the purchase: an 04 or the 05? I will also be looking at the dealerships who have close ties with banks in order to provide strong financing for those without perfect credit history. Your advice and opinions are greatly appreciated. Thank you

to help narrowing down the answers and advices, I am aware of the differences in complete specs and details between the 04s and the 05s. Just wanted to hear some non-technical opinions regarding the dilemma of decision. Just trying to be a careful/smart shopper since it is a big big BIG decision. Thanks again.

Sorry for posting contents consecutively, but as I am doing my homework on this forum, i have come to see some posts saying the 04 Gs should not be bought for more than 130s (Ave Mlg 5k-8k). I did not find any dealership selling a six speed 04 G selling at 130k level. Not even at Cats or Lambo OC or Symbolic. Both Symbolic and Lambo OC are firm with their pricing. Their attitude was either take it at that price or go elsewhere, which was 140k for 04 G and 153k for '05. All of the three dealers have similar prices although Cats seem a little more negotiable. However, trouble on financing. Especially when i am located in Ca. Thank you

Southern CA. Is not the best place to get the best price. You may have to travel. This expense, plus car transportation PPI etc. may exclude you from paying the lowest price out there. There are alot of 04 Gallardo's on E-Bay, but if your going to negotiate, better have cash on hand first.

If you buy out of state you get a fun ride home to

Some colors are rarer and they will be more money. A color like yellow there would be more of.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I am also aware that having a full cash on hand will grant much more advantage, unfortunately, such allocation is yet available. Must i turn to Cats like many other prospective buyers in this forum?
