Default GT is gone, Gallardo in the Garage

The transporter came and took my beautiful GT away. The lucky new owner is getting a fantastic and very unique breed of American heritage. The next day, a different transporter brought me my new Gallardo. Just got back from the first drive, and all I can say is WOW. First Italian car for me, and it is a different world. If I knew how to say something enthusiastic in Italian, I'd day it now. That V-10 MEANS BUSINESS!

More to follow...must...drive...Lamborghini now...

So how would you compare it to the GT? I think there is much more refinement with the G would you agree? Congratulation!! Keep us posted.

Italian? The Gallardo is the least Italian car ever made in that factory. It looks terrible (I've seen many of them) and it has ZERO Italian character. How do I know? You own a Countach like me and you'll know what a real Italian car is. Like Ferruccio said in 1992 "There is no more Lamborghini". I couldn't dislike the Gallardo more.

I personally think Audi made Lamborghini that much better. You now have an Italian supercar with German engineering.
Welcome to the 21 Century, it's what should have happened long ago.
The fit and finish on Lambos is now great, not like a Countach
Even Diablo's are not that much to look at on the inside.
This has made the Gallardo the most reliable everyday drivable Italian car yet. Like a Porsche, you can take it on a long road trip and not worry about it, try that in a Countach or even a Ferrari.
The G-Car is Awsome... Rock On!!!

Bought a new 1988 Countach in 1988, Sold it in 1992 with 2,500 miles, three flat bed receipts, two fires and my picture in the local paper stranded on the 405 freeway with smoke coming out of the engine compartment. Biggest POS I have ever owned. I bought a Gallardo last May after 5 years of 360 ownership and 26 years of F ownership. G is one of the best exotics I have owned.

have you ever even driven a Gallardo? do you know what Italian is? do you even own a Lambo? pay a visit to the factory or drive a lambo and then tell that the G isn't a beautiful piece of italian sports car. Maybe jealousy is why you couldn't dislike the Gallardo more...i mean w. mitty is very excited about his new G car and you have to rant on his parade...real curteous.
