I just purchased a 2012 Gallardo this being my first Lambo. I'm noticing the same thing. When I first start it and take it out the front left wheel clicks like the tires rubbing. I actually assumed that's what it was untll I seem this post. I have to think if we've had this problem their has to be other bull owners that have seen the same problem.

That grinding, bumping, hopping is perfectly normal in cold weather with the steering wheel at full crank. It's worse in reverse. When everything warms up, it'll be gone...or almost. I'm assuming the 550-2s don't have that problem?

In the Lotus forum, we have an icon for "TADTS" : "They all do that, sir."
![]() well, not ALL, but it's common enough to say that anyway.

Quote:
The 'clunking' and 'hopping' comes from the combination of cold differential clutches, and cold tires. It's normal on 'most' awd cars. |
