Default Gallardo SE Wheels

I just bought my first Lambo and its a orange SE. Im curious what the general consenus is out there on changing the wheels. I am use to changing the wheels on all my cars and don't know if thats the right thing to do with a Lamborghini. I usually go to chrome. Does anyone have any great Ideas out there on make and style that they have seen on these cars. There is a Maya rim that looks pretty hot.????????????

changing them could throw off the balance of the AWD...lambos are very sensitive to that....

plus the new SE rims are SIIIIIICK...

it you must, do this....

get the rims chromed...
no, not CHROME looking, but chrome the smoke color. Beverly hills lambo had it done to a few cars last year at monterrey and it looked insane! hope that helps.

I really like the SE wheels. I think it will be a mistake to change them!

Default Rims

Roy,
What do you mean by "they chromed the smoke color" explain this. Are you talking about doing this to the existing rims or doing that to any rims you might buy????? What is the size of the front and rear stock rims??????

what they do is powder coat the wheels black, then they chrome over it so what you have is a chrome look, but its black. its very sharp looking

Changing the wheels would be a mistake, IMO. They help make the SE an SE. If you change them, the car becomes just another modded G.

i thought what they ment by that was chrome the wheel by galvanizing it. Similar to gold coated and silver coated stuff.
