Gallardo revision for 09?

Does anyone have any facts about whether or not the Gallardo will be revised in 2009? Is it a minor update like 05-06 or a major one?

It is going to be late next year '08 to be an '09 model?

I too heard there were some changes planned for 09. Whether that is dust another special edition or big changes remains I be seen. Lambs has a lid on it.

I only know about the 2008 update;
Additions to the gallardo range include an onboard computer, heated mirrors, and USB connection as standard, with new options such as iPod connection, Q-citura leather stitching as seen in the limited edition Nera and a beige soft-top available for the Spyder model.

For 2009, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 will be introduced predominantly improved with a new engine and a new suspension naturally delivering increased performance and dynamics.

The engine is a new 5.2 liter V10 with 560hp, which is an increase of 40hp. The vehicle itself weighs 44 pounds less than the previous Gallardo yielding a 0-62 in 3.7 seconds. Supposedly, traction, handling and stability have all also been improved.

As for the exterior, updates similar to the LP-640 lead the way with changes such as enlarged and accentuated cooling intakes, new LED headlights and taillights, a completely redisigned rear end, etc. I don't believe that much is new with respect to the interior except for additional options.

few questions though;
- would it still be wise to buy a gallardo spyder new right now as the lp560 is coming?
- what will this mean for the marketprice of the gallardo spyder?
- when will there come a lp560 spyder?
- and will the lp560 replace the gallardo or will it still be for sale?

Spyder sales will probably decline untill the lp560 spyder is released - It be will be available sometime in 2009.

The LP560 does replace the Gallardo entirely!!
