Or continue to look for a good dealer. They are hard to find indeed. Good luck either way. If you do take the car in, I would state condition of the car (no leak, no cosmetic damage) and photos of it when you drop off if you are worried. Yeah, it's a little paranoid but it may save you.
This was why I was dragging my feet. I went to the same dealer as Djantlive and they were great. I didn't feel a bit of pressure from them. That is the way is should be.

This is the way they deliver your car to you.

Does Lamborghini cover any transportation costs since it is a recall? I've got 1200km (745 miles) one way to the closest dealer so I'm not very keen to pay the bills for something that is their fault...

Anybody knows?

1500 mile round-trip in Sweden in January...Hmmm. I don't think the 4WD will help much.

I wonder if they could explain the process to a more local Audi dealership and supply the parts? It's basically an R8 under the bodywork anyway. Very unlikely they will pay for transport.

Shipping is not included. If there is no dealer close by, you can contact Lamborghini to have an Indy shop do the work and get paid. If work is done previously, you can get paid.

Lamborghini Vancouver, whom I bought the car from, picked up my car enclosed at no cost for the recall, 1700 kms one way (1100 miles).

So seeing as it's there, I'm getting a service and a few things looked at. Good deal for me. Stellar service from these guys, like I'm used to from them.........

Just spoke to Lamborghini Copenhagen and apparently my car needs the "3 hours of labor" work.

He told me that Automobili Lamborghini and Lamborghini Copenhagen happily pays for the transport one way and of course for the recall parts and labor, and that he was going to contact Lamborghini to see if it was possible to work out a solution for the transportation back as well since the distance is so great.

Did Lamborghini Vancouver pay for transportation both ways?

I'm happy with the contact so far.

Hey sorry to bump an old thread.

I'm based out of Waterloo, Ontario and Lamborghini Toronto closed down so the closest dealership is Lamborghini Montreal(about 700km away).

I contacted them back in October but they never got back to me. How should I go about this recall process and do they pay for transportation or should I just make the roadtrip?
