Lift System is an optional extra in most countries, I don't know about France?

I think it comes with the car but I'll make sure of that...

In France the lift system was optional on the 05 G, it is standard on 06+ models.

If you can afford it get a LP (09+ model) as it has been greatly improved over the 500/520 model otherwise get a 06+ one as it has improved steering and transmission, standard lift system and a bit more power.

The Gallardo has coilovers as standard so you can raise or lower it as it suits you. The lift system is great though as I never had any problem with speed bumps or car park ramps. (I have to go down 15° inclines to get to my garage)

The camera is a must have as the visibility when reversing is quite bad. The camera quality is not great but it helps to check how far you are from objects or walls behind.

Regarding the clutch, the previous owner replaced it after 25000kms. I don't know how he drove the car. It costs roughly 4500€ to replace.
I just did a full service on mine ( all fluids and filters changed, spark plugs replaced and full inspection. It cost 1750€ at a Lamborghini specialist near Orly airport (not a dealer) I can give you his details if you want, he does pre-purchase inspections.

Thanks for these useful infos yemgi.
Please feel free to give me the adress of this french garage, I might need his help one day.
I'm thinking of purchasing my G next Spring. I have a budget of 126000$.
Do you think that a 2007 2008 Superleggera is as comfortable as a regular LP 520 or LP 560 on a daily basis?

If the Gallardo is only a week-end car, I would go for a Superleggera instead of a 520. I could not find one in my budget so I chose a well equipped 520. I never drove one though so I can not comment on the comfort. The "standard" Gallardo has stiff suspensions but still comfortable IMO. I have previously owned lowered cars with coilovers and the ride in the Gallardo is quite great in this respect.

I will PM you the address .

I have an SL 08 and have ordered a 550-2. Why? The SL is a fantastic car, and very emotive. Its a street legal race car. The 550-2 is a modern supercar, faster than the SL - smoother, and more refined. It will be very exciting to drive (rear wheel drive only!). It all depends on your outlook, and what you want to enjoy. The 550-2 is far more 'usable' on a daily basis. The SL will bring the bigger smile!
