A confession....

I often look at the dirty inside of my rims and think I'd like to clean them. I haven't so far, although some days I push in a bit with my cleaning rag. Then I imagine my shame if a friend dropped in and saw me doing it!

I can't bring myself to suggest it to my car cleaner. He only does my Benzes (I do the Lambo) and does a good job, but I imagine he'd look a bit sideways at me if I suggested a "quick wheel job"....

But now I must try for the clean inside wheel look. How does your Zymol guy get in there to clean them?

Or do I need to join some kind of self help group?!

I normally wash my own cars, but then a friend of mine said you should try a "professional" you don't know what your missing..... The rest is history. Now i cant go back to the way it was before. I said to the guy, "you cleaned the inside of my rims!" He says to me" well they're not really clean if you don't" When i asked him how, he just said "Ive got a special brush for just that job"

Now read into this conversation what you will..... but needless to say we both need help. Turn away from the dark side anakin.....

This whole story is strangely bringing back memories of a trip to vegas......

Just noticed that even though you have a tubi, you cannot see them through the rear grates. Your dealer must have reinstalled the stock heat shields on the sides and over the exhaust.

I havent seen another Tubi installed G side by side with my car. So I wouldnt know what the difference is normally. Does it look better or worse on the cars youve seen?

Looks better imho with the shiny tubi showing through the grates but heat vents into the engine compartment when you are stuck in traffic. Mine is this way.

No overheating issues but I am working on fabricating a heat shield so that the heat does not vent into the engine bay.

Well its all about the noise when it comes to Tubi. Absolutely love the way it sounds.
