Can anyone give any feedback on the quality of this clutch and any comparisons between OEM? Thanks in advance.

Is this a good price at $2500?

Lamborghiniparts.net

Lambo Stuff lists it for $4200

I have Hi Tech Exotic's Kevlar clutches in both of my Diablos. It has already lasted longer than the stocks that I had.

I've done at least 10 hard launches on both cars and the clutch is as good as new.

I am not recommending hard launches if you don't know how to do it right.

I have another friend who drives his Gallardo everyday and has about 25,000 miles on the Hi Tech kevlar clutch and the E-gear computer says he has 60% left. His stock clutch only lasted 8K miles.

I don't think the reason Hi Tech's clutches last this long
is only because of Kevlar. It is the way it's designed. You have hi quality kevlar design and low quality kevlar design.

I've been very happy with their clutches and have not had any problems.

I also have Hi Tech's Kevlar clutch in my Diablo. The previous owner had it put in.He put about 15K miles on the clutch.I've put 10k miles since I bought my Roadster.

Hi Tech just did my 30k mile service and the clutch is in great condition.

The pedal pressure is also softer.I test drove other Diablos before I bought mine. They felt stiffer.

Frank,is there a difference between Diablo and Gallardo clutches?

Tony,

Gallardo's clutch is not the same as Diablo clutch.

Diablo has a single 10" disc whereas Gallardo has a Twin disc(I think 7.25" or 8").
