The original Gallardos had some software problems and the software should have been replaced. That said, all I ever had to do was drive the two vehicles -- the Gallardo is the clear winner! I found the Gallardo to be a far more solid vehicle, while the 360 vibrated and rattled and simply didn't handle nearly as well.... Just one guys opinion!?!

360 Modena has more spunk, like an 18/year old virgin Swede. The Gallardo has more of a Stalin approach to driving. LOL

There is one other thing I forgot.......

When I would hit about 150-160 in my 360 spyder, (2003) it felt out of control, like floating on the highway, I was not at all confident and never took it over 160MPH.......

My Gallardo I have had to 180plus MANY a time with no hesitations at all, as a matter of fact after it hits about 135 I fell in WAY MORE control than any car I have ever driven, (barring my BIG murcie of course).

Owned a 360F1 for 5 years and bought a G last May.
Will definitely pick the G over the 360. If you want any specifics, pm me and I will be glad to explain.

Thanks for all of the feed back, it is nice to here from people that have driven both. I must say I have always loved the styling of the 360, but now that I have seen a gallardo in person I am totaly blown away. I just don't want to spend that kind of money and have problems with it. Now I want to go drive one. I am in a 996TT and love the car to death, but I am such a car nut that I want something a bit more exotic. Would you recomend a 2004 or 2005? Have there been much in the way of change?

Only difference between 04 and 05 is the front end lift system, steering wheel badge and ashtray trim ring........software updates as well, however your 04 can have that done under warrant at no charge from any dealer.......

The 04 will save you money, but will not have as long a warranty period left on it.........

If you want a car call me I will get you what you want......

Thanks Roy, when you speak of the dealer will upgrade do the upgrade am I correct that you are speaking of the software? Was there that much of a noticable diff in the software upgrade? I am also a person that likes the shifting aspect of driving, do you recomend the egear or 6 speed? Any idea what I can be looking at to pay for an 04 6 speed? Ballpark?

the software changes were mainly for the E-gear cars, I myself prefer the 6 speed........

04 6 speed.........$141 to $150

05 6 speed..........$149 to 165

I have two 6 speeds right now

A brand new 05 silver for $165 and a used 05 with 7k miles for 153.both fully loaded.....
