It was a typo and should be a delay reduction of 2.68ms. However, this is not the time it takes the car to actually shift. There is a stock delay value in the TCU for when the upshift is requested. This upshift delay has been reduced 2.68ms once the shift is commanded.
Sorry, we have no way of measuring shift times...at least not with any tool that is fast enough to measure.

Does the EGear tuning only improve shift speed for performance or can you optimize driveability at slow speeds as well? If so I'm interested.
I'm also interested in a tune for my S600, but I noticed the fuel filler door says it requires 93octane stock. We have CA 91 octane here so we're already running lower octane than what Mercedes Benz recommends for the engine. Do you have gains on a 91 octane tune?

Jerry, My 04' (1093) is up at the dealer in Bellevue, Wa. starting the power steering recall fix. I doubt that they are one of your dealers. would you suggest me waiting until the car is returned to me or have them remove the ECUs and send to you now to get this price? Also, will your mods help this 5.0l much? Thanks, Ken in Oakland, Or.
