It looks like all of the parts are design for LP cars so the wing mounts to the rear cross member; I am mounting it partially on the rear cross member where the two rubber bump stops are, also built a bracket to hold the front of the mounting points, I'll post pictures next week after USGP. I went to Palm Beach Lamborghini to take a look at the STS that they have there; great guys over there, they were nice enoght to let me take the bonnet off and take pictures. The OEM bonnet on the STS has two pivot stuts that go into two holes in the rear deck; like I said I'll be posting pictures next week. The parts I got seems to be molded this way but they don't have this pivots so I'll be making my own.

I'm really jealous of you, I hope one day I'll have enough time/money to mod my own TTG. You're living the dream, and your car looks absolutely amazing. Not sure on painting the ends of the STS wing VI, covering up all that nice carbon fiber :P ... Are you doing any interior mods besides carbon fiber pieces?

One of the most basic rules to make a car faster is to decrease the weight and the increase of Horse Power and being that the second was already up there me and my buddy were curious to see how light is the SL really was and to explore the areas where we could decrease the overall weight.
At the time the car did not have a bonnet yet the it had a full gas tank which makes a huge difference; assuming 23.8 gallons of fuel at 6.28 lbs. per gallon = 149.46 lbs. of fuel making the overall weight at about 3400 lbs. without fuel.
