I am afraid if I drove by a cop trying to hit me with a gun that it would just piss him off if it didn't register and he would have to know that I had a blocker or something. The car alone suggest suspicion. They could probably cite me for my loud exhaust alone.

on the 9500ci tap the mute button twice to disable the laser shifting while beeing tagged. The next time he tries it , it will go off. You should check your state laws regarding this. In IL you cannot be stopped for suspicion of violating this law. But you can be stopped for other things then busted for it.

Not the best available?????? K40 pioneered the first Laser Jammer in 1993. K40 was also the first radar manufacturer to introduce a installed radar. Here are some site you may want to look at before commenting on the performance of a K40 radar.

I checked out all the systems thoroughly when I got my Gallardo. The K40 system tends to be sold to people with lots of cash, who don't really drive that fast or do much research. In most of the independant tests, it is a 2nd rate radar detector.

Either the top Bel or top Escort radar detectors will perform much better than the K40. However, for laser diffusion you need an entirely separate system--the Laser Blinder known as an M45

I have the earlier M40 , and have been through over 2 dozen laser traps in the last 2 years. I have no tickets :-)

Listen for future referrence dont do your research on websites that sell a specific radar, especially the very radar they rank the best. It's a sales tatic that obviously you fell for.
