Default Cost of ownership overall

How much do Gallardos cost to own when insurance, financing and maintenance are taken into account?

I don't own one yet, so my answers are just guesses.

From what I've researched from online and calling places is that insurance (for me - 26 Male, clean driving record) is about $300/month, and financing seems to be somewhere around $20 per month per every $1000 that you borrow. So if the loan was for say $150k, somewhere about $3k/month. And maintenance, I have no idea as I don't have one yet, but from what I've read somewhere between $2-5k per year.

I (31/m) pay $2000 every six months for $300k/$1 mil coverage on my spyder with Allstate and no mileage restrictions; I've got a ticket for 64 in a 45 and one for no seatbelt over the past two years. All of the specialty insurers were more, or much more, and had mileage restrictions and other dumb restrictions like no coverage if it isn't garaged at my house, etc.

Maintenance is mostly zero so far, got it last October at 69 miles and now have 3200 on it and have only had to put two liters of oil in. I'll be taking it in for the annual check/fluids in a month or two and expect that to cost about $450.

My car has seen some track time at Sebring which has put heavy wear on my front left tire, and with asymmetrical tires that means once it is gone, all four have to be replaced, so I'm anticipating needing new tires in about 1000 miles which of course won't be cheap.

Not sure on financing but that won't be specific to Lambo, just whatever you get on the loan.

Insurance really depends on your driving record, your age and where you live. Financing is financing, depends on how much your borrow and your interest rate. As far as maintenance, the Gallardo when new is very cheap since it has a warranty and the first service at 1,500 miles is free. I think the next service is a 12 month service which will probably cost a couple of grand - just like any other supercar NORMAL service - provided you haven't trashed your clutch - thats the only consumable that can kill you - about 5k.

True, but you've also got a better economy and nearly double average wages.
