Normal driving: Sport mode will shift for you if you bump red line (I let it do this at long, empty on-ramps all the time). Corsa will not shift for you, it will hit redline and bounce WAAAA-WAAA-WAAA (I have accidentally done this a few times in a low gear).
Launch mode: Corsa will shift for you after the button and pedal sequence. Sport mode you have to shift manually after the button and pedal sequence. |

^Agree: Never did launch mode but in CORSA (regular - non-launch) it hits the rev limiter and you must manually shift or back off the throttle. Doesn't matter what gear you are in. I did this a couple times on the track. It doesn't "hurt" anything - the rev limiter is there to protect the engine.

Thanks, I got it now. I usually hit from a slight roll, so if I'm in sport mode I can just stay on it and it will shift automatically before it hits the rev limiter. My problem was I didn't launch it from Corsa I was rolling along.
Dargbnik, I know it's showy and self centered, but I couldn't help myself!
