Dear Lamborghini owners,

I own a Opel Astra GSi and I'm proud of it! Nothing beats a Lambo, that's for sure but since I'm still a student & can't afford that for a while!

Now I'm just fully restaurating my Astra and I want to give it a special color! I was wondering if anyone here would be able to suply me with the color code for Lamborghini Gallardo Orange? My car is already fully stripped...the only thing that's missing is this code!

My car is Arancio Borealis- I like that orange the best- it has a pearl effect that really comes out in the sunlight. The pics in my garage are still messed up from the hackers. I need to repost them.

Our Porsche dealer ordered a Carrera GT in the same orange as my car, after they saw it (I am president of the local PCA chapter and often bring the Gallardo to Porsche club events). The GT was orange with matching wheels and orange stitching on the seats. Some guy in town with an orange murci bought it. The MSRP was over $500,000. Paint to sample on a GT is $30K, painted wheels are $15K.

Anyway the car came in about 3 weeks ago, and it was not Arancio Borealis. It was orange, but not pearl or metallic. It just kind of sat there. Only then did they ask to see the PPG paint code under the hood of my car and they realized they ordered a different color!


I recommend you try and see as many of the different oranges on the cars in person and in different lighting before you make a decision. Look for dealers that have some in stock or go to a lamborghini club event.

I live in the Netherland and in this little country there aren't any Lamborghini club event meetings. I could have a look @ the Essen Motorshow in Germany but I'm gonna visit the show on 2 decembre and I hope to paint my car before that time if possible.

This is a picture of my car in it's present state:


It's gonna take a while to build it back up but hey, It's winter so no need to go outside!

I'm having my doubt's about these two colours:
- Arancio Ishtar 2CT (PPG-code: *0057)
- Arancio Borealis (PPG-code: unknown)

Does anybody have a picture for me with cars in these colors? And perhaps the colorcode for the Arancio Borealis color?

The one you want is the Arancio Borealis.
Its the special two layer peal metalic paint from Lambo.
