Who has had good or bad experiences in buying from a private dealership that is not a franchised Lambo organization? I'm looking hard at this car:

If the independent dealer has a good reputation I would not hesitate to purchase my car from them. Authorized dealer may give you more peace of mind but you will pay a little more.

After shopping for a long time, I purchased my 2006 G-Car from an independent because I liked the car (Low mileage, new tires, mechanically sound, detailed maintenance records from day one, etc.) and the price was right. After several years of ownership I have had no problems. Of course, get a PPI.

i had a bad experience with an independent in Florida and still fighting to get what i was promised... but, i have seen others who have had no issues.

had a good experience with Jake's. As with any exotic purchase make sure you get a good PPI.

Who did you use in San Diego for your PPI? Would you trust the local Lamborghini dealer to do it? Looks like we are neighbors. Who does your local maintenance? Do you take the car to Sarasota?

Lamborghini Sarasota has been doing my maintenance for over three years. They have always treated me right and their prices are reasonable. I will continue to use them.

Lambo NB or Raging Bull Performance would be my choices for PPI.

I had never dealt with Symbolic in San Diego but had positive experience with Lambo NB service and RBP.

I am in SoCal So I take mine to Lambo NB when under warranty and RBP after the warranty expired.

Sure is a nice lambo, and it is loaded! Hope it works out for you. I cannot see how you would be disappointed. Seems like Jakes get a thumbs up.

I bought from independent. 3 of 5 Gallardos at the large local authorized dealer had issues the car from the independent was by far the cleanest and drove/looked like new. I still did independent PPI and negotiated a full service no regrets.
