Default Black LAMBORGHINI Badge

I have been wanting to change the Lamborghini badge/script on the back to black from the usual chrome.

LNB had said they were getting some made but they have yet to make them. Any dealers that anyone knows of that has them in stock???

I know some guys have pulled theirs off and done it themselves. If they can chime in on how they did it would be great (i.e. what paint and so forth).

That would look great especially on a white car. Can't wait to see the outcome.

Yeah I think so since I have the SL carbon fiber wing and black Cordelia and tinted tail lights and windows. I think it will look nice, thanks.

If you do it do it professorially. I tried to take mine off to do it myself and its so hard to take it off. I ended up scratching the paint of my car and I broke the badge. The badge alone is over $300 and thats not including the paint job. So yea make sure you know what your doing. The rear badge is also held on by 2 tabs that need to be removed. Its not only held on by double sided tape.

Good to know. Some member on here told me that he sprayed the area around the script with WD-40 let soak overnight and then took it off with credit card. I tried that long ago on my 335 to debadge and wound up having fine scratches everywhere

WD40 will be very bad for your paint. Please don't do that.

I may bE interested in buying one and trying to paint it myself if I can get accurate instructions on removal.
