Exclamation Another Underground Racing TT Superleggera headed to DALLAS TX. 6 week build.

One of the top concerns for the customers of any tuner is whether their build will be completed on time and as promised. Those that follow our posts know that we promise to meet our agreed upon deadline or the build is FREE. Jim held us to this. I told Jim that his car would be a 6-8 week build. He stated that he required that it be done in 6 weeks. This is not just a normal build--it's a Stage 1 Race Version that makes 1,000+ whp on pump gas and 1,500+ whp on race gas. Not only that, he also wanted every transmission option that we offer: billet 1-6, billet output and input shafts, billet final drive gears, billet rear differential and all billet case modifications. Jim also went with many other options; too much to list here. All of this was completed in just over 5 weeks, even with a shop full of projects that also must stay on time, approximately 50 cars at present. Also, a CORE engine was not used. We built the engine that came in his car. Our machine shop, Pro Line Racing, finished this engine in just two weeks even with their extremely busy schedule. Jim also wanted to color match the calipers to the calipers to the Gallardo color which we have done on a few others. I want to thank Jim for choosing Underground Racing to build him this monster, and for giving us such a fun challenge. Unfortunately, he also made me sell him my Carbon Fiber HRE's as part of the deal, which are not made anymore.

Wow. Just beautiful.

Question: What goes in the reservoir on the R hand side with the silver "UR" logo on it? Is that the water/coolant for the intercooler?

All of our builds have that. Our water is cooled by the heat exchanger at the front of the car. The big lid is used for if you want to run ice in it at a race event or etc. Our power figures we advertise and post about are WITHOUT ice. thanks

Awesome build as usual, I'm surprised it has Nitto Invos on it though! Why no R888's?

Waiting on the R888's to show up. Those tires were already on my wheels.

We vbox most of our customer cars on the test drive to make sure they are up to par other than on the dyno, not about to video every test drive, car is on the way home. Our much faster 60-130 times are well documented.
