Default Another test drive

Its funny, after spending a few months reading the board, and offering a few opinions here and there, I totally feel like the newbie I am. As I prepare to travel this weekend to test drive a Gallardo for a second time, I see posts from years ago from many of the people that are still regular's on the site today. Its really cool, and in some ways makes my upcoming purchase pale in comparrison to some of the cars in Lamborghini's past. But, you have to start somewhere and I'm pretty excited about making my plans final to buy my first Lamborghini. Why post this? Because I'm sure there are many here that remember their first Lambo and clearly still love the car, the history, and culture, otherwise they wouldn't still be posting years later. So...thanks for sharing your thoughts and advise for all these years and helping new guys like me decide what to do and how to do it. It has been invaluable in my search and made it tons more fun.

So on to the practical points...this second look is a great opportunity for me to feel both transmissions and make final color selections. I love the orange, and it is on the short list, but unfortunately, my first choices would are limited (Rosso Vik and Monteray Blue) on the Gallardo and I may not be able to find those in a lightly used model. So I may end up ordering one...though my strong preference will be to select one of the MANY that do not seem to be selling. I'm sure some of that is the time of year, but I gotta believe the current state of the ecomony in the US will continue to mean a soft market through the summer. Thanks again - looking forward to "really" joining the family.
