HI, I am new to this forum and have a question. I am looking at purchasing an 02' murcielago with the 6 speed. Are there things I need to know about that year model that I should be asking? Should I shy away from the first year for any reason? With less than 3K miles, what price sounds fair? Just a rough ballpark. I am an avid Viper collector and know much about them, but not much about the Lambos. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Depending on options, STOCK or aftermarket items, the cars go from 175K retail to 195K retail........color also plays in the price. The Pearl colors, Yellow, Orange etc always are more, they are a $3800.00 upgrade at new from the factory.


2002 units had 3 minor recalls, make sure all those were done. Other than that no major difference in the 02 or 03 other than MOST 02 units had KM on the ODO and not MPH.

As always buy from someone you know or trust, or has a guarantee. If you know who has it post it here and you would be amazed at the answers you get, or what people know about the different cars.
