Default Murcielago Paint Chipping?

I have a 2005 Murci. (only 4mos. old) I just noticed that the paint appears to be bubbling in one spot (rear, drivers side).

Any thoughts?

...a fairly large percentage of all new cars delivered off the boat in Jersey have to have paint repair before being shipped to the dealer and then the customer. Don't sweat a bit of paint work. Just make sure that you are satisfied with it when it's finished. If not, then have them re-do it. Just because you have a 'new' car doesn't mean it hasn't had paint AND body repairs done to it..either in Italy, or here in the US.

The color is going to dictate the length of time for quality repair work...if it's a multiple stange paint process, sometimes they want to repaint the entire car...a good painter won't have to do that, just remember though, they use a different paint than is available here, so it has a different hue to it...PPG vs LPG...and even though the quality of repairs will be good, in the right light, it could stand out like a sore thumb.

Thanks for the advice. Mostly a major hassle, I'm sure (hope). The car is metallic black. Hopefully, it won't be as involved as other colors. I'm going to the dealer next week.
