Does anyone know how the mechanism actually works? Might help us figure out ideas for resetting it. If it's hydraulic then you can probably force it down with pressure. Maybe have a look at the ricambi site?

Just shooting ideas...

OK... tracked it back to one motor (right side) seemed to be working intermittently and raising the draw on the other causing it to stop itself. I pulled the rear of the car off where the wing is. It’s pretty slick how it comes off. Just 2 big bolts in the engine compartment and the whole thing slides back and off of 2 pins! (just thought I’d mention that to save someone out there an hour or so from starting in the rear and taking the black grill off and then 4 bolts that hold the sliding pin receivers on like I did...). so I pulled it off and then unbolted the "linear actuators". Then I was able to, with the ldas, run them in and out together and separately to see that the right side one was not running every time. Swapped them left to right and saw that the problem was following that motor. I was told by a few shops that it had to be ordered from the home land and was a month or two out. I found that surprising because I believe the bat wing motors are the same exact part. Maybe they have I different bracket or something... called the very helpful folks at lambostuff.com and i had one the next day!! Tested it a bunch then put the whole thing back together.

So far my LDAS and lambostuff has saved me about $1500! And that's just in 2 months of ownership and only putting about 20 miles on the odometer! The joy of exotic ownership!! I do enjoy wrenching on them as much as anything though!

Any specific questions just ask me I've learned a lot about that whole system!
