I have a $350,000 policy on my Murci and I insure it through Chubb. I have no limitations on driving and am only 25. I pay $980 a year on it. It's the least expensive to insure, less than half the H2 or M3 !! (Oh how I love the "no driver" discount!!!!)

I can't believe you guys get insurance at those rates. It's probably a combination of a couple of factors: US has a far lower population density, speed limits are lower, and in general Americans are more disciplined then us Eurotrash.

I quoted an '06 Gallardo! And it was $3200 annually, full coverage, and as a everyday car in PA.

Same price was a 2005 DB9.

My 2003 Cl55 Kleemann was $1600 annually.

And my 2005 Infiniti FX35 is $835. Annually.

My Suzuki GSXR is $230 a year full coverage.

And my demo from work which is the only car i actually drive is FREE!!!

I will be quoting insurance this week for a 2006 Ford GT and i will update this thread with the price i got.

I agree, NO friggen way! I don't care who you are, it's just not that low for exotic insurance with a specific replacement cost.

The lowest I heard of a Murci in NYC was $1,100 with a $2,500 deduct and only would give you their replacement value...good luck. (Allstate) Oh, you also had to have your house, wife, kids and boat insured with them.

thank u.... im not from the USA but i have lived there for years...

never came accross a quote like that....

but as u sayed... if u have a family account and have every thing insure with one company.... then i doo see this quote might be right...

i just dont want any one to get the wrong idea...
some future lambo owner might take it as fact

I pay 3,600 per year for my 2002 murcielago in Florida, because I dont have a USA drivers license yet, if not it will be a lot cheaper, is a full cover policy, but in case of a total lost the must they pay is 150,000 us for the car.
I believe you should get another insurance company in Spain, I have in Madrid a 1993 Ferrari 512tr and I pay around 2,400 euros per year, for almost a full coverage, it doesn't include broken windows, and fire.

I have to call B.S. on the Insurance cost on the Lambo. I just went to Chubb Insurance and got a quote on my 2005 Pontiac GTO a 25,000 dollar car if that high. The cheapest quote they gave me was 812.00 dollars every six months. This was with me, a 33 year old Male no tickets or wrecks and the vehicle listed as pleasure with an annual mileage of 6,000 miles a year with 25/50/25 comp and collision 10,000 medical with rental and towing and a 500.00 dollar deductible. That's 1,624.00 dollars a year on a car that is slower and a whole lot cheaper then a Lambo...............
