Default Insurance

I don't know about Spain but here in Virginia I pay $680 per year for full coverage on my 04 Gallardo. I have been with USAA for approx 25 years and they have treated me well. I hope you can find better insurance, otherwise at $20K per year it will not be long before you could buy another Murcie. Good Luck.

Did you ask if they offer "collector car insurance"? Some insurance companies have a much cheaper rate if you put a milage (km) limit per year of driving. They need to know it is far from a daily driver. Ask to speak to the underwriter directly. Explain to him/her this car is never driven to work, only on weekends, and never in rush hour.
My policy is less than $100 a month. However I am limited to 5000 miles a year.

I pay around $1800/year for my 6.0. This is about the same I pay for my wife's A8. I have normal insurance, in other words, not some kind of limited exotic vehicle insurance.

Full coverage in Belgium, including theft, legal assistance, fire, crashing airplanes, rear ending a SUV because you were on the phone with your girlfriend,...the works: about 3500 € per year. The rates are related to the horsepower, catalogue price, your age, and your history as a driver. Roadtax: 4000 € per year, that's related to cc (cubic centimeters of your engine block). If you buy a 20 year old car the rates diminish by 80 % and more. If you buy a 1989 CT, you'll pay the full monty untill 2009. Yep.

Its difficult to get classic car insurance in spain as there are few companies who insure supercars in spain, and to get value for your money some companies want the client to take out house, car, medical insurance from them, when this is done the insurance companies halfs your premium.

but thats sucks cause non residents, pay alot more tax on the insurance than residents. And if you become a resident you can only own a car that you bought from spain with spainsh plate.

Lamborghini Madrid said that its only the first year that insurance rips you off but after a few years premium drops buy at least a third.

Some advice ? Always have your insurance policies checked by an attorney. They're cut from the same wood. L ying is their core business.
