Default extending cockpit space

I'm 6'5 and have trouble with the size of the cabin in the murcielago. I have no problem with the ferraris but fancy a change. Has anyone managed to get more room / adjust the seating on this car?

Cheers

Yes. There are two ways to get a fair amount more room. The first is to modify the factory seat. Basically, (the shop) takes off the leather and foam and then cuts the factory metal seat frame and then rewelds the frame into a lower, flatter profile. Then they recover the seat in the foam and reupholster.

This has been done many times so that larger people, particularly basketball players like the 6'10" Jermaine O'Neal, can fit in the Murci.

The second way it to buy a nice racing seat, like a Sparco carbon fibre one, and have a really good motorsport shop custom fit it to you. The angle will be better, and the fit will be exact. You could gain up to 4-5" of legroom and about 2-3" of headroom and save about 25lbs. of weight in the process!

Good luck!

I thought they had a tall man kit for Lambo's ? I've seen Michael Jordan getting out of his Lambo, not in person but on TV, and he's 6'6".... Even Shaq has some exotic's and he's 7' plus.

All of his are heavily modified though. I don't know of every vehicle he has, but his 355 and 360 spiders cannot have their tops closed. In his words they are "permenant convertibles."

Does anyone have pics of these seat modifications for the Murci or comfortbale after market seats?

I was considering only acquiring a roadster, but if I can replace the seat with a new one I rather go that way.

Do you know who sells these and how much they cost?
