YellowMurci,

I got a reply email from Lamborghini and they say that my stock Grundig radio deck cannot connect with an aftermarket changer, only with one of its own brand like the Carcine Jukeboxx 6-DVD changer. Is this true?

You mentioned that it is possible for me to keep the radio stock and connect an aftermarket changer (preferably DVD-mp3). Since you are in the car audio business, perhaps you can advise me on options.

No you cannot add anythign aftermarket to the stock radio of that sort all you can do is change the radio on the car and the new cd player to go with it - eg: i am putting in an alpine head unit in my car and an alpine changer with it

Thanks for the advice on the aftermarket stereo. I have decided on a new Alpine DVD deck coming new this May, the DVA9860. It's all that I need. The IVA-D300 with the touch screen is nice, but all I need is a basic DVD-mp3 player deck with radio tuner. It should be a simple installation. I can't wait till the unit comes in and I can play my mp3 music in the Murcie!

why are you wasting money on a dvd deck? i think that you would use that if you have monitors in your car

No rear monitors for parking. I want a dvd deck because I want to play dvd-mp3 in the Murcie. Each dvd-mp3 disk can hold about 1000 songs (4.7GB of songs).

i dont know how you dont get lost on those - to many songs to sort through - i think its easier using an ipod connection and using that

I burn my dvd-mp3 with the songs sorted alphabetically by artist. I do not worry about searching for a song. I just let it play. I'm good for a few weeks on one dvd-mp3.
