I like his paintings also. I am not a fan of it being on the Diablo. It competes too much with the car. However, I am sure that their is a collector out there with will buy it. To buy it and repainted it is kind of like painting over the Mona Lisa, per say. As with most painting once deceased it will be worth a lot. I say if you don't think it there are numberous Diablos out there for sale.

Well 20K for a full repaint and maybe 40K(or more)to make it right mechanically. Less than 100k sounds right but just can't see the art dealers trying to sell this car agreeing. I lost track of this over the holidays and I'm assuming it didn't sell. Funny thing is if the dolphins were painted out and nothing else done to it, it would probably sell straight away. Do dolphin paint jobs show up on a carfax? How long before we see it again? I say early spring. Dolphins always sell better in the spring!
