Default SE30 Dolphin Car

Aside from the paint is there something seriously wrong with this car? Seems like a purple 30th should sell without too much trouble. Might get interested if it was mechanicaly sound. tia--Dave--

Here's the link. It's #28 of 150. I see Roy's on the bid now and we all know what that means. Go get em Roy!! I'm still interested in why this car has been on ebay 3 times in the last year?

Info seems to match the lamborghiniregistry.com info on the #28/150.
Custom paint job is indicated as being $250.000 (not counting the car)

Here is some info on the artist from the artists web-site.....
Christian Riese Lassen is Hawaii’s premier marine artist. His paintings and sculptures are displayed in galleries across the United States and Japan, and his images grace an eclectic array of merchandise, from greeting cards to jigsaw puzzles, wristwatches to scuba gear. Meticulous and imaginative, Christian’s paintings depict an idealized vision of the natural world, and in particular the ocean he so loves.

A greeting card / puzzle painting on my car Guess NOT

To me the Diablo is a work of art all by itself......

I love Lassen's seascapes. I have two hanging on my wall. They are worth a bundle. No doubt the car is worth over $250k in paint if they were on a wall and not a car.

I wouldn't buy it at any cost. And I love Lassen.

No offense but it's just not for me...

I don't like half naked guys (see artist website) painting my car

I'm sure the guy is a talented artist but on a lambo it's not appropriate imo. I would paint it back to stock spec. Question still stands, is there anything else wrong with this car besides the paint?

Now we're talking...............

Seems the car is in running condition but didn't run a lot the last decade.
When reading this forum we all know that NOT driving a Lambo is usually bad news. I've recently seen a 10 year old Diablo engine being disassembled. Only 8K miles, but rust everywhere. Probably needs complete overhaul.

If price stays below 100K maybe you should go and have a look.
