Well....the title of the website has got it right. AutoJunk.
The front seat looks like something my kids would have done when they were three. I agree. We are owners, but also stewards of a legendary car. I think the Diablo is the most kick-ass looking car there is, so I don't see any real point in heavy mods, but that's just my opinion. All of my mods (exhaust, deer fur/guts hanging off the front) are reversible. |

Lol... these are bad, but nothing like the Lamborghini's being defaced in Japan. All the bedazzling, neon lights, strobes, pastel paint jobs, cheap body kits, horrible rims, etc.... Japan takes the cake for ricing out to max.
And they aren't afraid to deface some classics too: http://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/g...image00003.jpg

Well I disregarded the complete continent Japan. I know these insane movies but disregarded it as it can be much more worse
![]() what you see here below is also completely normal in Japan ![]() to Japanese standards, these Lamborghinis are still pretty much 'untouched'. I emphasize, according to Japanese standards. If you do a google search you will find pics hardly to believe. I think despite all those lights, if you look better you see that mostly it concerns reversible mods and if the lights are switched off, you see sort of 'original cars' with original wheels and ridiculous paint. So I disregarded Japan but expected more common sense from countries like the Netherlands or Germany. I would rather expect such gangsta rap wheels from a rapper living in the Bronx. By the way, a few years before the car was already somewhat modded but it looked a much more decent then and imo not bad at all

I find these appauling
![]() I don't understand how anyone can ruin a car this way, regardless of what type of car it is. I like cars preserved in the original configuration, although I can understand mods that are reversible. But this !?! What a terrible terrible thing to do to a Diablo

These pictures are disgusting and bring me close to tears...of anger.
Iīm aware that some people in this forum will not share my oppinion but I think having the money to buy a Lambo and being worth to own one are two seperate things. (Of course 99% of the people at this forum are enthusiasts who understand what these cars are about.) Owning a Lamborghini, no matter which model, is a privilege IMO. I see it as a duty to care for the car, maintain it as good as you can and share it with other enthusiasts. Thatīs what makes you a worthy owner IMO. As far as modifications and individualisation go I agree with VT5700. Other (better) exhaust systems or rims and stuff like that are ok, if they can be build back to original specs. Keep in mind that every Lambo is kind of a piece of history. Or at least it will be in the future. Just imagine seeing a Countach with mods like in the pictures above. I personally would like to punch that guy in the face for destroing a piece of art and history. It does not need modifications and if you donīt get that you shouldnīt own one. When we buy a Lamborghini we donīt buy a system of transportation. We buy a piece of art that comes with a certain amount of responsibility. When you decide to add some disgusting mods to your car, itīs like owning a very expensive painting and decide to paint some more on your own. Just my oppinion. |
