Default Lamborghini Diablo stealing Nissan Fairlady Z lights!!!

Hey guys.
I have just received information that lamborghini stole the fairlady Z lights for the Diablo (the second series such as in my picture). And it turns out it is true. All I aska is why? Lamborghini is the greatest car manfactuarer in the entire world. They are more then cappable of making there own lights. Look at the gallardo for instance.

Yes, they are Nissan 300ZX headlights. But did you say steal? They obviously got licenced to use them.

Not only the headlights, but the taillights are shared between a lot of other exotic manufactures also.

What is a fairlady Z ? Is it the Nissan 300ZX?

Anyway, what's the problem, it's a light from Hella, german lights manufacturer, who minds in which cars these lights were used...
Nobody asks f.e. in how many cars the same sanden A/C compressor is used...

Diablo taillights were from tractors... if you want to change them you can go to a company with tractor parts there one taillight costs $5.

Exactly. Ever seen a Miura and a De Tomaso Pantera parked right next to each other?

Yes, the Z has always been known as the Fairlady in Japan, ever since the 240Z.

A lot of manufactures use items from other sources so as not to re-invent the wheel and drive up costs..

NOW THIS IS GOING TO KILL YOU!!!

Why do the 6.0 units have the little CF strip on the top of the headlight? I BET you think it is to make it look nice.......

WRONG....It is to cover up the WORD Nissan that is stamped into the glass mold at the top edge of the light!!!!

NOW that is engineering!!

I think it is a good thing, replacing the head lights will save you serious money compared to a gallardo or murcie. and when they look great on the Diablo, why would you make new ones?
