Default Diablo vs LP640 VS ferrari

Hi,
I am current owning an ferrari.
Always since growing up I always liked the Lamborghini V12 (contach, diablo, murcielago).

Recently I had the chance to test the Gallardo Lp500 and LP560 compared to the Ferrari 458 and Ferrari 430. Have to say on the road the ferraris gave me the most smile factor. But the Diablo was always my favorite and read that the LP640 was even better so tried it a couple of days ago since i was thinking of buying one.

It looks great, fun at high speed but compared to the ferrari I have to say that the acceleration up to 80mph felt faster in the ferrari, more fun. In sweden we don't have so big roads either so the LP640 feels quite big.

How does the Diablo SV compares to the LP640, some journalist wrote that the SV felt easier on the wheel than the LP640.
How does an Diablo 6.0 feel like compared to the LP640 (i tested Egear) 0-60mph, is the diablo more involving?

I think the diablo 6.0 is the best looking lambo compared to the LP640, but it have to be fun to drive to.

I've driven most of the modern Ferraris & lambos including 6.0SE. The V12 Lambos will always feel more clumsy & the line of sight is somewhat different with a bad C-pillar blindspot but huge front screen. My Diablo SV feels much lighter on steering but it can be a bit edgy to fast manoeuvers. The Lp640 will eat miles easily once it's on the open roads & feel a little uneasy on B roads due to width. Still it is a very special place to be in when piloting the V12 Lambo as it always put a smile on my face.

If you want an easier life & more modern feel in everything go for Lp640 or the 670SV. My Diablo SV feels a little antique to be honest but who cares

Go for the car you are most passionate about.

If you're not passionate about one in particular, then get the newest/best you can afford.

If you're looking to always be the guy who stops traffic, gathers the Cars & Coffee crowd, etc then get a Diablo.

If you're looking for the best driver's car then get either the Diablo SV, the 670-SV, or a Gallardo Superleggera.

Helo Mikael

You write that you own 'a Ferrari'

Why are you only describing the brand you have, and ask so specific questions. Wouldnt it be more logical to descibe what Ferrari you have and what and why you are looking for another car ?

I have an ferrari 355.
I want some more feeling when you accelerate 0-80mph, more like a rollercoasting feeling you can get from a newer 911 turbo or a ferrari 430, 458.

Always loved the looks of the lambos though.
