Default Diablo Turn signal assy.

It would be nice to know the year of the car, and if it is a roadster, also if it has an air bag.
Kinda hard to help people without ALL the information.

I was typing too fast. I need the turn signal stalk assembly that is located on the steering wheel. It's for a 1997 roadster without air bags.

Is yours broken?

This is how I fixed mine and it's better than new.

SI LAMBO- can you PM me with a way to contact you tomorrow? I'll print your pics tonight and take them to my tech in the morning. I have yet to see the exact condition of my assembly (tech says something about the "cam"?) but I will be at the shop bright and early in the morning to see if your fix will work. If so, I'd like to talk to you about how your fabricated the repair.

Thanks for your help!

I understand that this repair is not unusual. Many Diablos have this problem. A new one would not be as strong and cost much more.

I'll send you my email in a PM.

Spoke to chad earlier by phone and he told me this: Lambo changed the supplier when airbags were introduced to the cars in late 97. The old supplier was a mom-and-pop operation that did not want to refabricate their existing design to meet the new size restrictions imposed by fitting the airbag into the steering wheel. Apparently they gave what they had left to Lambo and got out of the business. Neither Lambo, or any of their suppliers, manufacture this part anymore. If you order the one they say they have in stock, you will get the part that goes with the diablos that have airbags in the steering wheels- which will not fit the 91 to 97 models without airbags. The one that fits those models is on perpetual back order.

I'm visiting the tech bright and early tomorrow to go over this with him and get his thoughts on fixing it. Hopefully it can be repaired per the instructions that both chad and SI LAMBO gave me. I really appreciate your help guys! And if there's anyone else out there with information on this topic, please come forward!

Update: It looks like the factory does have this part. It came in and Lambo Atlanta fixed everything. Signals work great (for now).
