I think most of the differences are cosmetic. The SE is one of the best looking Diablos built, but of course they got more reliable with age. I would think a manual covering 94 Diablos would suffice as far as mechanics go.

I just noticed a 99 SE Roadster at Milanos. Thought they were only made in 94??

no power steering on the SE - not sure if thats a bonus or not ??? I suppose depends on if you do track days or a lot of parking in tight spaces??

SE30 weighs about 3180lbs vs 3580lbs for VT.
SE30 has shorter gear vs VT.
SE30 is 2 wheel drive.VT 4 wheel drive.
SE30 = no power window and only a small opening .
SE30 has 17''front and 18''rear and made out magnesium which is lighter than VT rims so you have a better handling.
SE30 has adjustable rear sway bar.
SE30 has traction control. There are more diff.Let me know if this is enough.

I'd definitely go for the SE30. Limited numbers, magnesium wheels, bare interior (YES!)

I wonder why they are priced quite low, compared to the same year VT.
An SV should be good too.

It is all up to you.
If you will use it on long trips across Europe, buy the VT.
If you use it mainly for weekends, short trips or track day, buy the SE30

all right said, some more:
SE has alcantara interior. VT leather
SE 525 hp. VT 492
SE has bigger brake
SE limited production 115, VT 600-800???
SE is the way to go imo, you will have a real collectible, rare, beautiful and fast diablo with it
