Default Best aftermarket exhaust system for Diablo

Hi guys, just wanted to ask what you think is the best aftermarket exhaust system for the Diablo (any model). I like Tubi a lot but if you think there are better systems tell me!

Really is a personal thing. I have Larini, and Quick Silver. They're both equal. The question is whether you want to run sport cats or straight pipes. I run both, and I prefer the straight pipes. The noise just just fits the car.

I thought Larini was much louder than Quicksilver? I ran shotgun in a Quicksilver equipped Roadster last year and it sounded pretty mean at full throttle, how much would you say the volume level increases with straight pipes? At idle I imagine it would be pretty difficult to talk when standing outside of the car.

Basically Larini are guys that used to work at QuickSilver. They both look the same. With straight pipes the volume is at least twice as loud. It's more like a sharp barking sound, just take out the sharpness and you have the sport cat sound. That's the best I can describe it. Yes, you have to raise your voice a bit with the straight pipes.

Thanks so far guys. Quicksilver really seems to be the most common out there. Any oppinions on Fabspeed, LOC and Capristo for the Diablo models?

Capristo is German, so you could get it installed at their shop. I really like the way they look

Yeah Capristo isn´t far away from me. But i´m looking for the best sounding system and i want to know what options there are. Unfortunatly, straight pipes are not legal everywhere haha!

same ideas here; also not far from Capristo. Although they offer a good price for an electronic valve controlled system, imo the better sound comes from the Kreissieg. But the price is insane and too expensive.

Also listen to this here, it is not the best example but gives an impression

I emailed Reiter a year ago but they wrote back to me that they don't sell to private buyer ... it seems that Reiter isn't affected by the fin.crisis at all ?

Then googling a bit around, I found out that Reiter possibly did not produce that exhaust. But at this moment my memory is lost here, I can't remember where that exhaust came from but do some search and it can be found.

What is typical about the Kreissieg and the Reiter example is that their tones are both pretty high-pitched. The Capristo by far as I know concentrates its sound energy at the lower frequencies. The only advantage I can think of is that the lower sound has a larger range; it can be heard over a larger distance. But I like the higher pitch sounds more. I also emailed Capristo once, and they wrote to me they can 'easily' change their sound into a Kreissieg sound, but I have never heard any example of that anywhere. So how to buy such a system then ? I don't want my car to be the first subject to be experimented with.

Conclusion for me, is that currently Capristo offers the best system for the price in Europe. But not the best sound.

my 0.02

thanks / danke VT5700,

As I said I´m a HUGE fan of Tubi Style Italy. My favorite sound of all time is the LP640/LP670 with Tubi. High pitch but not F1 high and really "angry" sounding. Usually I don´t like straight pipes because the sound is to raw and sharp to me. Just for info to the sound I´m looking for.

Capristo is one of the best european exhaust manufacturers, no question. I love their system for the LP560. Somehow i´m a bit sceptical about Kreissieg. The sound i heard on youtube is often extremly high and strange, almost like a whistle!? And they are really expensive.

I also would prefer a titanium system over a stainless steel. To me they sound different but could be imagination haha!

If you want titanium, there's Onishi Heat Magic in Japan... (manufactures and sells the original exhaust system in Japan. )

But not cheap!
