The question is only, was it her's?

Of course there are not more than this one (which I haven't seen so far), really a bad move but in sense of reliability and easyness to drive an improvement, I suppose they installed a servo assisted steering as well.

If this is the episode I remember, the one that had the red Countach followed by the LMA doing donuts on the beach & towing the tank? If you are talking about the person driving the car it was Sharon Nash one of the Beyond Tommorrow presenters. I found this link on the net, Sharon has a very distinctive voice, if you listen to the "America's next producer contestnt video" and you remeber the episode in question you will recognise the voice http://www.sharonproducer.com/sharon-nash_bio.html.
But you may be talking about the owner? Just thought I would add this in :-)

I remember seeing the making of "Beyond Thunderdome" back in '85. She told the crew she could not drive a stick. They had to make all the vehicles she drove in the movie automatic. I guess she even had her LM converted to an automatic. WTF
