I think you have a diablo engine...

Could you check if you find somewhere an engine code like 574, 524 or something to check my theory?

Where would be the engine code be located?

Also, if I was to do use the MSD, what would have to be done to equip the MSD?

Had the floor mats and center counsel mat with the logo.

What is the difference having a diablo vs countach engine?

Engine very clean.

your car is verry clean..

mane difrence between CT and diablo engine is diablo is fiul injected were as my car with the QV engine is carbed, i dont know if there is a big difrence in performance, as i know both engines were detiuned for off road use,
i do know that the last few americana lm002's were special edision ... like the white one roy has..

i do have this pic of a document i presume cam from lambo to the usa dealers.
but i dont know if your car was one of these americana's

Since you have the Diablo engine you cannot use a MSD box, makes no sense.

Perhaps it's on the identification plate where also the weight is mentioned.
The 25th Countach has the Code "Motore Tipo L 507 V4".
