Default Lm002/Americana help

Lm will not start after running. The starter, alternator, new wiring, new batterers, celionade (sp), battery cables all replaced; the kicker when try to start fans, horn, radio, etc work, but when try to start there is no sound, but when the vehicle is cool it will start no problem.

Any ideas why this is happening.

Thanks,

Taz

I had the same issue 10 years ago. I had the starter rebuild. Have you probe the voltage at the starter/starter solenoid when turning the key? That should give you a good clue of what is going on.

The starter was rebuilt and solenoid replaced. We also replaced the primary battery, engine and chassis ground wires.

The issue must lay within the ignition circuit, perhaps the contacts are corroded and creating resistance or the positive cables also need to be replaced.

Lack of amperage need to turn over the engine, after a heat soaking is due to resistance in the electrical system. It's quite possible that the answer isn't just oen or two components, but a collection of the entire system.
