Question what kind of car was this?

what kind of countach was this when come out from s.agata in original shape?
what happened to this one?

This was indeed a LP400, you can see this from the cut in on the roof, I'm not sure if this is the mardikian or another one, I think there are about 3 of these conversions existing. Rod Stewart owned once one of them.
One Black with burgundy hide car was for sale in Germany about 3 years ago.

now i see, it is a periscopio....lambocars was wrong as i suppose
tks raymond i had seen the bonnet, but not the roof cut

You can also tell by the recessed vents in the engine bonnet. The later cars have the raised vents.

Notice the angle of the wing. That would create some serious lift. A Countach Targa, where would you keep the roof?

I'm pretty sure this is a Mardikian car. He blended the flares into the body, just like this one. I still have one of the original Trend Imports brochures with the twin turbo targa on the cover. I used to stare at it all through my teens, dreaming of the day I'd own a CT. Only took 19 yrs.
