Question What do I have? (pics)

Hi all...
In 1990, when I was 16 yrs old, my father purchased a 1982 Countach...my teenage dream car!!! Now, approaching the end of 2005, my father has given me "the lambo".

My folks recently got divorced, so my father decided to give me the lambo, to ease the settlement (since he didn't drive it anymore anyways)...but this is a discussion for a different forum (just wanted to give you a bit of info on how I was "given" a countach)

I was hoping to find out more about what I have acquired! By doing a bit of research, I believe that it is a late model LP400S...correct? No doubt, you folks may be able tell me a bit more.

- The serial nbr is 1.121.428
- No US bumpers
- Wing (when purchased, he was told it was the actual factory one)
- located in the Atlanta, Georgia, USA area
- has ~38,000 km on the working od

Any information would be MOST appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Regards,
T-DOGG

Arrow Pics #2

The interior is showing A LOT of signs of age! That thing sticking up, that you are probably asking, "What is that?", is a crappy old stereo equalizer on a bendable arm.

This pic was taken before my dad bought it. I don't know why it was pulled.

You have one of the youngest LP400s #428, #470 was the first LP500s, your car has an Ansa sport exhaust.
Everything else looks quite original you have even the original P7 tires installed, in your position change them against new PZeros and keep these old ones.

Your missing the lamborghini lettering at the rear end, instead a designo bertone badge is installed. Also the right cat eye is missing, you can purchase at every lambo dealer for abut $20.
In contrary the nonsense written somewhere else, the LP400s had NO bull badge under the lamborghini script. The Lambo script you can often buy on ebay for a reasonable price even at the dealers it's not weighted in gold.

If you want to know more about your car contact the factory for the built sheet, they can also tell you where your car was originally delivered.

BTW your car is not in the Lambo Registry of Glen...

TDOGG
Raymond did a very good job of pointing out all the details to you already so all I can say is that you have a very nice car and welcome to Lamborghini-talk.
If you don't mind me asking where abouts in Georgia are you? I am located in Grayson which is about 20 miles east of Atlanta. I am hoping to try to organize some local get togethers once my car is finished, I know of a few owners here in North Georgia.
