Default Purchased My Dream Car Countach Last Week

I am still in shock!
It has been a childhood dream to own this car. I am surprised on the pricing. I can't believe these cars are under 100K. I purchased an 88.5 QV and searched for quite some time to find a late model non 25th lambo. I take delivery of the car in about three weeks so I am trying to keep my composure until then. It is an honor and a pleasure to be part of this elite group of owners.

Question: How do people around you act when they see you driving down the road in this car? Should I allot more time to get where I am going? I guess what I am trying to say is if you guys could enlighten me as to what to expect.

Regards,
Eric

Hi Eric,
Welcome to the Dark Side
The Countach is a wonderful piece of art, and the ultimate toy for boys. In a few words, I would say...expect to get addicted !

well done
yes, you still can find some under 100k....but i think you have done it at the right time

aspect people react very surprisingly when you'll dirve it:
cars will stop, some will take pics with the phone, some will crash into a tree while looking at your car, everything could happen around when you drive a lambo

congrats on purchase
we need pics and some info: color, fi or carb, interior, miles.....

For the most part I love the attention.
One of the few negatives is worring about it when you park it. It can be a little unnerving. I watched from the window while a family was admiring my Diablo. I noticed they had a toddler, but didn't think anything of it until I returned to find very small hand prints all over the side. ARGH!

That's a beauty. Some will resent you. I have neighbours that won't even talk to me, but their Cayenne and Escalade are worth more. Go figure.

Beautiful car!
Get used to people driving in your blind spot, thats where they hang out to view and follow you.

I've had guys hit the brakes when my garage door is up and come back and ask if they could let their girlfriends sit in the car.

Some people blurt out obcenities, some smile and wave, some just look in humble reverence. One thing for sure, your car will have some kind of effect on EVERYONE who sees it in person.

I don't know. I should have the car in Florida within the next three weeks or so. I am sure I'll get more attention in the Countach then I did in my Ferrari Spider.

Did you look at the one for sale in Naples with 4300 miles on it? I looked at it and it is a really nice car in great shape. I think Tony Lambo on this site looked at it too and gave it a positive review.
