Yep..strange idea to paint a Countach with a Murcie Orange..not a good idea in fact...and changing the interior just by 'painting it'..yak ! what's wrong with these guys ?..wanna change the color, and the inside ? fine ! but do it properly (so at least you get this delicious smell of the new leather..)...well, whatever..
I called the guy about the 88.5. He assures it's only 30000Km..not enough I said (well maintained, your have a better chance to find a good car if she has already hit the road for some time..Am I right ?.. at least that's how I bought my boats.. ) Anyway, when I proposed 65kEuros straight, eventually 70 with a new paint and a complete check/overhaul (my sense of diplomaty has been lowered as much as the height he took me from at the begining..) he almost got a heart attack. No need to say that he did not invite me to visit the car..He was a nice guy though, and seemed to have known the car for a long time which would have been a good guarantee that it's not just a matter of making money.
No regrets though..red/black, with skirts is exactly the one I am not looking for
