Default Buying countach

Hi everyone, I am a new member to this site. I live in Vancouver BC, Canada, and I just found a countach for sale. The body and everything looks good and I would give it a well 8/10, but what else should I look for?

Here is the link:

check out service history, regular fluid changes and the clutch!
organize a test drive to see how it runs

BTW: price looks hi to me, a good 25th FI with 30k miles should not be over 110k$ IMO
for this price you could get or almost get a DD countach in US

I agree with Emilio. The price does seem rather high. But look on the bright side, if you found a very low mileage car and planned on driving it, you'd have to put thousands into it to replace seals, gaskets, etc. So if this one has service history and has been maintained, you should be fine. Beautiful color combo, IMO.

That is a high price for the car. PM me, I can help you get a good one. I live in Calgary and have owned one now in Van and just bought a DD Anniversary. There are better buys out there for that $$$.

Oh really? I know that weissach near downtown also has got a countach anniversary, but I didn't look into the details to that since I have been a little busy. So how much do you recon I should pay for a countach ?

it DEPENDS on the countach model

aspect to pay 400k over $ for a good LP400

and 110k -120k $ for a good 25th FI

I agree with Emilio. I am sure you have done some research but unless you intend to drive the car everyday, (which the 25th injected model is great), for that price I'll look at buying a QV downdraft carburetted, even if you have to put a little more to it for a nice sample. A DD will increase in value from your buy. A 25th will deppreciate further. But if you intend to put lots of miles then it will not really matter and the 25th would be a better choice for that (at a lesser price).
